Respite Care at Home

Our respite care at home service provides families with specialist hourly care or live-in care on a temporary basis enabling a carer or loved one to take a break.

With respite care, one of our friendly, professional carers is able to step in to care for your loved one while you have a break. This may involve anything from companionship, cooking, cleaning through to personal care, medication management or more complex support for specialist conditions.

Respite care can be provided as Live-in care or Hourly care. Whatever your needs, our respite care service is tailored to you and your family and can be arranged at short notice if required.

  • Helpful to know

    – Our live-in care is available seven days a week, 365 days a year.
    – Our fully-managed service provides regular visits from our Care Manager.
    – Care is usually provided by two Bluecross Carers who will work together on a rotational basis.
    – Our Care Manager is always available to handle any emergency situations.
